Online and classroom based groups are small, with each lesson full of interactive language learning. Learning is supported with appropriate materials both audio-visual and written. Plenty of fun activities to do with likeminded students. Additional activities are also available to do at home. Each course is well designed and structured to include a variety of language learning activities and skills including grammar.

My aims.
To provide fun, creative and engaging Italian lessons at each level. Design courses, which promote positive experiences and successful outcomes through meaningful activities.
I believe
Learning a modern language is a wonderfully enriching experiences, both personally and academically. It’s a journey on which you embark, meet people, keep your brain stimulated while bringing you closer to your goal.
About me: I enjoy teaching Italian to classes and seeing students make progress in the language and culture. I am a fully qualified teacher who has had the good fortune to teach lots of lovely student over the last 30 years or so. Most of my teaching experience has been teaching Italian to students of all ages, from children to adults, Beginners up to A’ level. Qualifications: BA (Hons) Ed. Post comp. IOL Dip Italian and several other qualifications in Italian and Spanish. After several year of teaching numerous educational organisations I decided to take the plunge and created ‘Adesso Italiano’ giving me the opportunity and freedom to offer non accredited fun and innovative courses.
Previous work experiences:
I have worked for over thirty years teaching Italian in the Northeast of England and have taught all ages from small children to adults. I have been fortunate to have taught in a great number of places. Italian to post 16 in Newcastle College, Sunderland College, City learning, Gosforth high school (adults and children) 2 Gosforth middle schools, Northumberland county council and Gateshead council at various venues and so on.
